In 2025, Lambeth Palace Library presented Unfolding Time, an exhibition that explored medieval ideasabout time through an extraordinary type of book—the concertina-fold almanac—shown with treasures from the Library’s historic collections. This booklet, filled with colour illustrations, captures the display and offers the first general introduction to these curious books.

Copies of this publication can be purchased directly from Lambeth Palace Library for £5.00, and can also be posted for an additional £2.00. Please email archives@churchofengland.org for details.

All proceeds from publication sales go to the Friends of Lambeth Palace Library.
