The Library’s address is 15 Lambeth Palace Road, London, SE1 7JT. We are opposite the Evelina Children’s Hospital. To enter the Library, pass through the two sets of automatic glass doors. A member of security and/or our Front of House team will be ready to welcome you.
London Underground: the nearest Tube stations are Lambeth North (Bakerloo line, 10 mins), Waterloo (Northern, Bakerloo, Waterloo & City lines, 10 mins), and Westminster (Circle, District, Jubilee lines, 15 mins)
Buses: the Library is serviced by various London bus routes. From the stops right outside the Library, you can pick up the 77 or the C10. Many other buses can be hailed from nearby stops outside St Thomas’ Hospital (Westminster Bridge Road) and outside Lambeth North and Waterloo stations.
National Rail: the nearest national rail stations are Waterloo (10 mins), Vauxhall (10-20 mins), and Victoria (20-30 mins).
Ferries: situated close to the river, the Library sits on several riverboat routes. The closet piers are London Eye/Waterloo Pier (RB1, RB6, 10 mins), and Westminster Pier (RB1, RB6, 15 mins).
