November 1 at 10:00 – 16:00
Join us for a unique opportunity to:
- Explore the archives, libraries, and conservation work at Lambeth Palace Library.
- Meet our expert archivists, librarians, and conservators, and gain behind-the-scenes insight into their fascinating work preserving historic collections.
- Learn about activists and figures from Black History that have archive material in the archive
- Learn about the Church Commissioners’ links to the Transatlantic Slave Trade and the significant records held in the archive.
- Take part in guided tours of Lambeth Palace Library and its archives (spaces limited, available on a first-come, first-served basis).
This is a chance to connect with history, reflect on the Church of England’s Black History, and see how the past is preserved for future generations.
